Daniel Apostol named chief executive of The Money Channel



The Money Channel has named Daniel Apostol as chief executive of the news channel, with effect from June. He will succeed Sorin Freciu, recently appointed as chairman of the board at Realitatea-Catavencu media group.
Daniel Apostol (photo) has 15-year experience in broadcast media. He made his debut as a reporter and correspondent for a radio channel and was promoted afterwards to host at the radio morning show at Radio ProFM Bucharest. Later on, he began his career in economic journalism and took part in the launch of several economic publications, and in 2006, he joined The Money Channel. He served as editor-in-chief until March 2007, when he was promoted to development director of the channel. Since September 2008 he has been serving as editor-in-chief.

The new editor-in-chief of the channel is Anamaria Lembrau. With over 16-year experience in media, Lembrau has been with Realitatea-Catavencu media group since 2004. She served as editor-in-chief, news director and newsdesk manager at Realitatea TV.
