RNSC authorizes Franklin Templetons Bucharest office
Romanian National Securities said it authorized the subsidiary of the asset manager Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd in today’s session.
The fund will manage Fondul Proprietatea, organized as a closed-ended investment fund under collective investment scheme category.
Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd. based in UK was registered at the Romanian National Securities Commission on September 14, 2009 following the notification from Financial Services Authority on the asset management operations carried in Romania via its subsidiary.
The asset manager that will handle Fondul Proprietatea’s assets leased 90sqm office space in Premium Point building in Victoriei Square.
At the end of March, the Fund said the advisory firms KPMG Romania, Darian and JPA Audit & Consultanta will be responsible for the valuation of Fondul Proprietatea’s assets, in line with the international valuation standards.
