A&D Pharma crosses the 2bln lei threshold
The Dutch-registered drug retail company, A&D Pharma said its 2009 sales increased 18% year-on-year, to 2.17 billion lei (€515 billion).
A&D Pharma’s wholesale business, Mediplus, has been the growth driver in 2009, which saw a 16% increase in revenues to €380 million and a very significant increase in operating profit to €28.3 million.
The pharmaceutical group recorded an operating profit of €35.1 million last year, up 166% from 2008.
